루씨펄, Tony Toni Tont;/FONT>의Rhapael Saddiq이 En Vogue였고 시원한 목소리 너무좋은 Dawn Robinson,
A Tribe Called Quest의 BeatMaster였던 Ali Shaheed Muhammed와 뭉쳐서 만든 슈퍼 그룹
이 세명의 멋쟁이들이 합친다고 했을때의 그 엄청난기대치 만큼의 앨범은 아니었지만; 그대로 충분히 좋다.
그뒤로도 앨범을 계속 내주었으면 했지만...어흑
어쨌든 큐팁의 통통거리는 랩은 이런 살랑거리는 곡과 너무 잘어울린다. 멋져멋져

계속되는 멋쟁이 Q-tip의 Collaboration, Janet Jackson과 오랜 시간 함께 해왔던 Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis의 역작; Joni Mitchell의 Big Yellow Taxi를 샘플링한 곡 Velvet Rope앨범에서 최고 좋아했던 곡, 이 명곡이 왜 뜨지 못했는지..Janet은 평소의 그 빠른 템포의 곡들 보단 이런 살랑살랑 거리는노래가 훨씬 좋은 것 같다.
또앨범을 들어보면 의외로 이런 곡들이 많기도 하고...이 노래가 나온지 거의 10년이 다되었구나...

어느덧 길고긴 추석연휴의 막바지(라지만 아직 이틀이나 남았다!),
앞으로 남은 시간은 무얼 바라보며 지내나?..;라는 걱정이 조금씩 들기 시작하는... 이때쯤 들어주는 노래,
멋쟁이 트럼펫터 로이 하그로ㅂ와 역시 멋쟁이 랩퍼(아 '랩퍼'라고 쓰니
뭔가 MC.몽의 MC를 말하는 듯한 촌스러움이 느껴져 미안한 기분이 들지만;;;)
큐팁과 에리카와 미쉘 은디지오셀로의 멋진 조합
큐팁의 통통튀는 랩과 나긋나긋한 바두의 보컬과 하그로브의 연주가 너무너무 잘 어울리는 바로 이 곡,
에리카 바두와 로이 하그로브는 고딩 동창이었다고...

Just sprinkles with the essense of life to form my breed

The musical expression is important for progression
Never stop learning lesson, and neither should y'all
